Movie Titles

Each movie should have its own page in the main namespace, with the movie title corresponding to its page title.

However, due to MediaWiki's page title limitation, the following characters are not allowed:

  • # < > [ ] | { } _

Further, as page titles should also corrispond to video filenames on a computer, and many operating systems have file name limitations, the following characters are also not allowed:

  • : " / \ ? *

While titles may contain characters, due to MediaWiki's encoding methods the following characters are removed from site image names:

  • ! $ % & ' ( ) + , . ; = @ ^ ` ~ ¡

To avoid file merges in Plex, Part followed by a number, should be removed from the title, even if part of the film name.
